Una gallega se convierte en la primera mujer que gana un torneo de póquer

La jugadora gallega María Maceiras ha obtenido el primer puesto en la VII fase del campeonato de España de póquer, con lo que se ha convertido en la primera mujer ganadora de un torneo, según han informado los organizadores de la prueba, que se celebró en Peralada (Gerona).
Maceiras, que también ha recuperado la victoria para España, ya que en los dos últimos torneos se había impuesto un jugador extranjero, ha ganado 28.600 euros y ha conseguido situarse entre las 15 primeras posiciones del ránking general.
En este torneo han competido un total de 154 jugadores, el de mayor participación de los celebrados hasta ahora, el segundo clasificado ha sido el francés Jean Charial, que ha conseguido 14.600 euros, y el tercero, Alejandro Sánchez, de Albacete, que consiguió 8.600.
